WORLD CLASS COP CARS

It's interesting to see what kind of cars the police around the world are driving:

Germany
: Brabus CLS Rocket
With 730hp from a twin-turbo V12 and a top-speed of 225.19mph, the

Brabus CLS Rocket is currently the world's fastest legal sedan.

Germany: Porsche 91 1 Carrera
The Porsche 911 Carrera S has been extensively modified by TechArt for

its role as a police car. With a 5 liter V10 and 500hp it's capable of over

186 mph and sprinting to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

Italy: Lamborghini Gallardo
Lamborghini donated one of these beauties to the Italian Police back in 2004.

They probably liked it as they purchased another one a year later for around

$166,000. Top speed: 190mph. Powered by a 5 liter V10 with 500hp.

Italy: Smart
Not quite a supercar, but I bet chases on the narrow streets of Rome are

much more interesting since the Italian Police got this.

USA: Dodge Magnum

Michigan Police acquired an entire Magnum fleet, (they could be used

as rams by their looks)

USA : Corvette C5

USA: Ford Mustang

USA : Hummer H2
700hp Hummer powered by a 7.0L supercharged V8 for a sheriff in Texas

UK : Lamborghini Gallardo

Similar to the Italian Police Gallardo, just with a crappy paint job

UK: Lotus Exigeï
The Exige is a lightweight, high performance car that accelerates from 0 to 60

faster than typical V8 cars and yet only uses around 5 liters / 100 km.

Australia : Holden VE Commodore

Japan: Nissan Skyline GT-R

China: Hummer (It just HAD to be a replica)

Holland: Spyker C8 Spyder
406hp and a V8 with Lamborghini doors. Maximum speed: 186mph

Canada : Jaguar S Type

Bulgaria : Porsche 911

Saudi Arabia : Lamborghini Gallardo

Yet another Gallardo with a better paint job than the British version.

Malaysia : Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution x

Nissan Silvia S15 - Sittin' On Chrome

Every once in a while when we're in Japan, we'll come across a car like this chrome S15 Silvia convertible. It's flashy and it's sexy, but we only have a Frodo-sized handful of specs to go along with the car. As so-called editors it really sucks for us because we can't give you the full scoop about the car. We really wanted to, we promise, but at least Wes took some badass pictures for you. Yes. It's a bright, shiny, chrome S15 Silvia convertible with an insane Alpine audio system and some other additional goodies to boot. Who cares if the only performance enhancer slapped onto the non-turbo SR20DE engine is a Tanabe exhaust? We don't. Hell, it doesn't even bother us that it's an automatic. Would we cruise this thing down Sunset Blvd. with the top dropped and bumping some old school Dr. Dre jams? You bet your sweet ass we would.

HOMETOWN Somewhere in Japan

POWER who knows

UNDER THE HOOD We're guessing an SR20DE engine with a Tanabe exhaust

STIFF STUFF Tanabe coilovers rollers Pretty big Racing Hart wheels; Falken Azenis tires

STOPPERS Project U brakes

OUTSIDE VeilSide body kit; some kind of chrome paint

INSIDE Recaro racing seats; Data System gauges

ICE Alpine amplifiers, front and rear monitors, front and rear speakers and subwoofer

2010 CLP BMW 6 Series Review

The Aerodynamic Kit MR 600 GT by CLP (5990 Euro) is the main component of the vehicle concept. Among other things, the wide front bumper, on the one hand, complies with the dynamics of the BMW 6 Series, but on the other hand, it effectively reduces lift on the front axle and ensures optimization of the air flow for effective cooling of high-performance braking system. The complete kit consists of two front wings, two rear fender flares, left and right side skirts and a rear apron. The tailgate spoiler (for an extra charge of 399 Euro) merged with the trunk lid is offered as a complete unit or separately at the customer’s option

As appropriate wheels, CLP installed exclusive 3-part alloy wheels with stainless steel trim rings in size of 9.5 x22 inches and 11.5 x 22 inches, equipped with high-performance tires in sizes of 255/30-22 and 285/25-22. The cost of the wheel set is 8960 Euro. In order to optimize the road adherence without limitations, a KW Variant 3 coil-over comes into play.

As all CLP products, these packages feature the highest functional quality and perfect craftsmanship. In addition to the existing body program, an electronic performance enhancement option is available now. The cost of the software optimization (645i) to 379 hp and 490 Nm is 1290 euro.
If you invest additional 1599 euro, you’ll get CLP muffler with four tailpipes made completely of stainless steel.

Full Carbon Fiber Ferrari 16M Concept

Thanks to GTspirit, we can show you what is probably the most expensive Ferrari 16M on the market today. This tuning project features a complete carbon fiber body commissioned by a previous owner from the Ferrari bodywork specialist Carrozzeria Zanasi. The 16M is now for sale at Ferrari Beverly Hills for an insane $650,000. All the exterior panels have been manufactured in carbon fibre, but is that amount of money really worth it? For over half a million dollars you could almost buy three of these cars, one to crash, one to drive, and one to store away forever. However, if you must own the very best, then this Ferrari F430 16M would be the perfect match, because I find it hard to believe anyone will duplicate this ride.

Extra options installed on this full carbon fiber Ferrari include titanium exhaust tips by Tubi, a redesigned alcantara and leather interior, navigation, front and rear cameras, and a the factory rims finished in carbon fiber. The best part about all this work, is the fact that the car only has 126 miles on it.
